Our feature from last week should be on the television tonight, we’ll update you if this schedule changes.
We’d be on the NW region, Granada TV. The programme is called Granada Reports and it starts at 6pm.
Don’t worry if you can’t see it broadcast live, it should appear on the ITV player and we will record it and feature it on the site.

Chart Day was today and unfortunately, we didn’t make the Top 40.
At this point, we have no indication of what our final chart position was nor do we know how many were sold, when we do find out we will of course share that information.
We’re very disappointed, we pushed out to thousands of people in various ways and we just didn’t sell enough, that’s all we can say at this point.
We’d like to thank everyone who bought the single and everyone who helped us along the way, we did our best and we wish we could have got a better result for you all.
We’d also like to thank you for sticking with us for five weeks whilst we’ve hammered the point across about the single!!
We’d also like to thank Limahl and Jez for taking time to really be a part of this and we’re gutted for you guys that we haven’t got this higher. This of course not a reflection on the music, it just didn’t go far enough.

Here we are, Sunday 19th June 2011 and it’s Chart Day!
Today, we find out whether all our efforts have resulted in a chart placing.

There is a timer ticking in the top right of that site which shows the amount of time remaining until the charts are updated.
Here we have a quick Q&A about the release!
Where are we hoping to place?
Our ultimate aim is Top 40 but we’d settle for any chart placing, breaking into the Top 100 would be an incredible achievement!
How easy is any of that that to do?
It’s very difficult! Normally, a single would have a promotional budget behind it, our budget has been zero! Songs may have been featured on an advert or appeared in a TV show e.g. sung by someone on Britain’s Got Talent etc. For us to mix it up with those tracks would be a real achievement.
Can I still buy the single now?
Yes, but it won’t count towards today’s chart.
What next for the single?
Let’s talk about that after the chart!
THANK YOU all so much for your support throughout this release. We’ve hammered on about this track for weeks now and you’re all still here supporting us and giving us encouragement.
If the track doesn’t make the chart, it’s not a failure. We’ve all achieved something amazing right from the start. Just to have the band allowing us to promote their single is a result in itself, seriously.
We know the KajaGooGoo fans are a loyal bunch, we just need to hope we’ve reached enough of you to make the impact today.

After a long but thoroughly enjoyable quest for the chart, we’ve arrived at the last day.
Tomorrow we’ll find out whether we’ve done enough to break into the Top 100 and appear on the official chart site.
Midnight tonight is when sales will no longer be counted into the total for this week.

We’re halfway through release week and still pushing as hard as we can to make the release of ‘Death Defying Headlines’ a success.
We’ve been on the radio, we’ve been in newspapers and we’ve even recorded for television but we cannot do this without the support of the fans.
We need to sell more copies of the single, which is where we need your help to achieve this. Tweet it out, link us up on Facebook, tell people that you know, we can do this but only with an almighty push in the last few days.

Today, KajaFax spent the day with Limahl and Jez filming for a feature on Granada TV news.
Granada TV has a catchment area of 5.4m people so this is a truly wonderous piece for us to promote the single, ‘Death Defying Headlines’.

We had such an incredible day today, it’s been mind blowing! Many thanks to the guys from Granada TV for putting us at ease and being such a joy to work with.
Colossal thanks to Limahl and Jez for taking the day out to come and play, they’re such lovely guys and they were totally gracious, super friendly and totally willing to fulfill all of our requests for videos and photos and recording and such like!
