Limahl Update – Don’t Suppose…. CD Release
March 2, 2012
Gold Legion, the company responsible for the release of Limahl’s Don’t Suppose album, have today released a statement.
Good news for all Limahl fans indeed. The content of that message is below:
Both Steve & I here at KajaFax are looking forward to receiving our pre-ordered items!
It’s been quite a while coming….
For those of you who have not yet ordered your copy, you can do so here:

Has anyone really did receive the pre-ordered CD? cause I emailed GL and dead silence from them again! This is beyond my belief…
Hi Joanna,
I got my despatch notification email from them this morning. Hopefully, in about ten days or so, the CD will have made it to me here in the UK.
I did pay for it over 2 years ago though…
Anyone?? Received Anything?? In last 2 weeks I wrote 4 (FOUR) emails to this ridiculous comapny just to find out when they’re going to dispatch the CD and they didn’t even take their time to wrote me a single word!!! Nothing!!! Four emails from a customer who paid over 14 months ago! What is going on? Should we file a claim at the police? This is too much fo me really….. Joanna
Joanna,
I paid for mine in January 2010 and have (as yet) received nothing too. I received a despatch email from the company on March 10th and still have had no CD. Other people have had theirs though as we have learned through twitter & facebook.
Like you, I am livid about the whole situation. Unfortunately, there is not much as a customer that can be done. I’m guessing that if a credit card was used then there may be some cover perhaps, although given the length of time since payment I’m assuming we would be too late to claim. I ordered mine on a debit card so am not covered at all.
These discs are on a 2000 linited run and to make sure I receive a copy, I have ordered another one from an ebay trader in the states who has copies in stock and ready to sell. I just don’t expect Gold Legion’s copy that is supposedly on it’s way to ever appear. I would never order from Gold Legion again to be honest.
As for taking action against Gold Legion – I’m not sure where we would stand with that. As a British citizen acting against an American company, I’m guessing that I would have no chance of taking them on.
I guess we have to have faith – just keep on pestering Greg at the company and see what gives.
A very shoddy firm and no mistake, although I understand that the end product, should you ever get it, is first rate.
I haven’t got my CD either, and eventually after numerous emails and a somewhat blunt final attempt I got a reply from Greg but all it said was “It’s despatched”, no date when, no apology for the late reply, nothing of any use. I did get the Debbie Harry CD from them in November and that did arrive so I still have hope but it’s fading rapidly… I’ve made a claim against an American company before and got all my money back from my credit card, but I’m not so sure it will be valid after a two year wait – I’m going to try though, and go for eBay as well – assuming that the eBay seller isn’t just Gold Legion by an alias!
