KajaGooGoo on Never Mind the Buzzcocks

April 23, 2011

Who could forget Never Mind the Buzzcocks?  A superb quiz show where two teams of celebrities went head to head on the subject of music.

One round in the show was to identify musicians from a line up and in this particular episode, the teams had to identify Jez and Stuart.

This particular section of the show comes right at the start of this show, which has been sectioned out by the submitter.

You all identified Jez and Stuart correctly, right?!

Many thanks to Kerry Woolacott for the link 🙂

Nice clip, although I always thought the show was mercilessly cruel to its guests and sometimes its panel members too.

As a point of interest, Adam Ant looks in better shape and younger now than he did then…and that clip must be 12 or 13 years old!

and i have a feeling limahl did this as well on another occasion. I was more interested in the TOTP’s clip though in case my former self was visible!

Brilliant clip, and I’m also sure Limo did the line up.

I remember seeing this when it first went out. I spotted Jez and Stuart right away and kicked myself for not having a video to hand to record it. Later Limahl did indeed appear in the I.D. Parade.

Limahl was also one of the “Guess the Artist” artists, in an epsiode of A Question Of Pop. This was a Saturday evening show that took the A Question Of Sport format and used it with music. Limahl would later appear as a proper guest panelist.

I also saw this when it was first broadcast – NMTB is usually quite brutal in the identity lineup. But Jez and Stuart were so obvious (maybe I say that because they are good friends of mine and I have know them both for so long now). Denny, I agree it was so easy to spot Stuart and Jez – none of the others in the lineup looked anything like any of the band members!!!
Dont recall seeing the one with Limahl, but admit I have no inkling to follow his career post Kaja – put up with enough of his crap whilst he was in the band………
