Limahl Playing Our Friends Acoustic May 2011

March 22, 2011

Stop Press!  It’s been announced in the last half hour that Limahl has been added to the list of artists playing ‘Our Friends Acoustic’ at the Grand Clapham in London SW11 on Thursday 12th May 2011.

KajaGooGoo

Rick Astley, Jimmy Somerville, Nik Kershaw, Toyah, T’Pau, Cutting Crew, Hazel O’Connor, Katrina (ex Katrina and the Waves) and Limahl are the artists playing.

This is a rare chance to experience your favourite 80s artists acoustically re-working some of their biggest hits. It’s the sound of the 80s, stripped back and intimate; a chance to spend time with the singers and songs we grew up with.

After the live music has finished there will be an exclusive afterparty, with DJs spinning your favourite 80s tunes till late.

The event is in aid of Mencap so very worthy of full support.  Many thanks to Neil Alexander for providing me with the official event logo.

Let’s get out there and support Limahl 🙂
