Rare Vinyl: Limahl – The Never Ending Story ‘DJ Only’ Never Ending Remix

August 1, 2013

Our first post of August returns us to a subject matter that is a real KajaFax favourite – scarce vinyl.

The collection of Kajagoogoo vinyl is a finite pastime, with most artists (Kajagoogoo included) issuing their newest work on either compact disc or more commonly via digital download format rather than traditional vinyl records .

We know from the number of emails that we get here at KajaFax HQ that many fans crave the good old days of records, and would love to see another chunk of ‘goo vinyl  hit the shops!

Until that day comes, we have to pacify ourselves with scarce examples from bygone times.

Today, we feature a rare and unusual promotional disc issued by EMI in the United States.

US Remix NES

The Never Ending Remix was issued as a black label promo 45rpm 12” back in 1985.  Marked ‘not for sale’ the disc comes in a stickered black disco sleeve with no other information provided.

The flip side, as you would expect, contains a ‘test tone’.

Altogether a nice item that is lifted straight from the KajaFax collection – we hope that you liked it.  Keep checking our homepage ‘track of the week’ where we will be showcasing the Never Ending Remix is a few weeks time.

Thank you for visiting KajaFax and helping us become the premier Kajagoogoo source on the web!
