Happy 50th Birthday Nick Beggs!

How time flies, it’s that time of year again and as we’re all getting ready for Christmas, many of the guys are celebrating their birthdays.

A huge KajaFax ‘Happy Birthday’ goes to Nick Beggs today celebrating his 50th and having a rare day off  from his current hectic diary!

As you will know, Nick is currently touring with Kim Wilde  as part of Quofest and is back on the stage tomorrow night in Newcastle upon Tyne.

It’s been a pretty crazy year again for Nick, in amongst many other things, touring with Kim Wilde earlier in the year, on the road with Steve Hackett, touring with Steven Wilson and getting back into the charts with the ‘Grace for Drowning’ album:

Choosing a video to share with you today is a very difficult task.  There are so many that we have seen many times before, videos of Nick with other bands and videos of Nick playing alone (stop it!), so I’ve just had to go for something.

This video we have seen many times before but it’s very apt for this time of year and it’s Nick doing what he does best, just playing the chapman stick from the heart.

What will 2012 have in store for Mr Beggs?  Well, we really don’t know the answer to that one but it’s sure to involve a lot of hard work and dedication as always.  Will there be any Goo time?………

Many happy returns Nick, loads of KajaFax love!!
